Project Presentation: New ways of holocaust education

Convoi 77 and Haus der Namen are two associations, one French, the other Austrian, committed to keeping Holocaust or Shoah memory and teaching its history to younger generations in Europe.

In 2021, their joint program aiming at designing and rolling-out innovative ways of teaching Holocaust or Shoah history was granted funding by Erasmus+.

During the two following years, a sustainable connection was established between the two associations, and a working scheme set up with two groups of committed and experienced teachers from each country. Workshops were held in Graz, Austria and in Paris, France, alternatively. The results were summarized into a methodology to share the findings.
